It’s not a secret that we’re not fond of going to the huge national trade shows swarming with too many people
and already discovered yarns. But not everyone knows that we love going to the much smaller regional trade shows.
One reason is we get to see all our friends from our favorite yarn companies. And on a recent jaunt to a regional
New England trade show, we got to visit with one of our favorites, Linda from Blue Sky Alpacas (and our other friends
in her entourage, of course!).
Well, when Linda dropped news of her plans for a special new ultra line of royal alpaca, you can imagine that
Elise’s ears perked right up—she is our alpaca girl, remember. We couldn’t wait!
So when the boxes arrived
yesterday, Elise, no big surprise, dropped everything (yes, she had a few other projects
going) and started right up on a pair of wonderful to-die-for little gloves from the New Yorker-favorite,
705-Antique Black.
