This is the yarn that started our Colinette affair. Elise discovered Point Five in London many years ago while killing time waiting for Kevin to be done with a business meeting. For years afterwards‚ it was very difficult to find this yarn in the US. Elise would beg Kevin to pick it up for her on his frequent trips to London even though she knew it was some inconvenience. Being such a sweetie‚ he usually did. He also picked out his own colours and it was in this fashion that Elise became acquainted with the many colourways she otherwise never would have met. Since then‚ this amazing‚ thick and thin‚ lumpy‚ bumpy‚ soft‚ and fabulous yarn has been part of our family’s history and sweaters.
1¾ sts = 1"‚ 2½ rows = 1"‚ on size US 15 needles
55 yards‚ 100g
hand-wash‚ dry flat or dry clean
IMPORTANT NOTE:Just a reminder‚ this yarn‚ as all Colinette‚ is individually hand-painted. There are no dye lots and every skein is unique. Elise really likes the differences and when she uses the skeins‚ she places them arbitrarily. We do have a suggestion for people who are more organized. Roll up two skeins and every two rows change skeins as if you are striping with different colors. As a result‚ the differences in the colors will blend‚ and you will not be able tell where one stops and another starts.
