Yarn as food… seems to be a theme lately. This yarn has definitely become part of Elise’s regular yarn diet. With the same colors and texture as its’ bigger sister, Ultra Alpaca, the light version is perfect for gloves, shawls, finer scarves and sweaters. It is also perfect for what Elise likes to call “faux lace” – you know, thinner fiber on larger needles (say 11 or 13 US). Simply knit in Garter Stitch and the result is a beautiful lacey fabric, perfect for shawls or curtains
