Lumpy Bumpy! yarn from Hopyard Spinnery

Our friend, Carol, at Hop Yard, has done it again. Produced gorgeous yarn and hand dyed it in amazing color combinations. This beautiful merino has the thick/thin texture that everyone in our shop loves… making it perfect for scarves, blankets and snowboarder hats. It’s especially lovely for baby blankets – soft, cozy and colorful. Lumpy Bumpy is always a winter favorite at Flying Fingers! ~

IMPORTANT NOTE: Just a reminder, all Hopyard is vat dyed and not stirred so there are no dye lots and every skein is unique (yarn that was on the bottom of the vat tends to be more intensely colored than those on the top). Elise really likes the differences and when she uses the skeins, she places them arbitrarily. We do have a suggestion for people who are more organized. Roll up two skeins and every two rows change skeins as if you are striping with different colors. As a result, the differences in the colors will blend, and you will not be able tell where one stops and another starts.
