But we are probably the only place around to reintroduce Cherry Tree Hill's Cotton Boucle Mini This great cotton is no longer being produced, but you guessed it, Flying Fingers still has some!! Join us as we knit with hundreds of other knitters around the world on the same day!!!
WHERE: Patriot's Park* (Route 9, between Wildey St. & Cobb Lane, Tarrytown, NY look for balloons tied to lawn chairs!!
WHEN: Noon'ish
BRING: Lawn chair or blanket for seating, water, snacks, hat, sunscreen and of course needles and yarn!!!
Participants will receive a WWKiP Day sticker at Patriot's Park. Present your sticker at Flying Fingers Yarn Shop June 14 or 15 and receive 10% off your purchase!!

What is the Yarn Bus?

What is the Yarn Bus?  ®
Simple! We want to see you!
It's our way of giving you a free ride from New York City to our Westchester shop!
It runs twice a day on Saturdays and Sundays (and other times and places by special arrangement).

Our shop is half an hour north of Manhattan, so a 3½ hour adventure gets you up here from one of our convenient stops in Manhattan, gives you ample time for shopping and browsing, and then gets you back to your stop in the city again. All while having a great time—just ask any of our hundreds of happy riders!

The bus is always free! It's so easy to sign up, with just a quick e-mail or call. The great thing is that since the bus runs so often, we almost never say no, even if you're reserving late in the week.

Come up this weekend. It's great with friends or just treat yourself.

How to ride the bus:

You have to get your free reservation. Send us the e-mail with what you want. We send you back the reservation. You show up for the bus. That's it. It's that simple.

How to get your reservation:

Send us an e-mail and we will send you your reservation within a few days. We are only booking weekend dates automatically right now-call us for other reservations. You need to include the following information in your e-mail:

  1. Your name, e-mail address, and telephone number (preferably a cell-phone to reach you while you're waiting—in case we're running late).
  2. How many seats do you want?
  3. What stop? [Yorkville, Bloomies, Midtown, etc.]
  4. What date do you want to be picked up?
  5. Do you want to take the morning or midday bus?
